Yik Lung studied architecture at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College, Malaysia, where he later completed his bachelor’s degree in architecture at UCSI University, Malaysia with Dean’s Honour List. He has worked with several Architectural practice in Malaysia before pursuing master’s in architecture at University of Strathclyde which he later completed with distinction.
During his first year at University of Strathclyde, He was awarded the 2018 GIA Student Award the best fourth year student design. He is now an architectural graduate with a thesis project called “The New World [R]evolution: Surveillance Capitalism", aim to shine lights to this area where architecture academia has less explored. He is keen, hardworking and a leader with passion and drive to use architecture as means to create a better future.
